Today I finally installed A Theory of Progress (An Accurate Model for a Cohesive Distributive Communication System) out on the street. It took about an hour to install. I was a little worried that someone was going to see me or harass me; I’m not sure if this qualifies as graffiti or not. No one seemed to mind since it is in an industrial park;one person even yelled from across the street that it looked good. If I had the time I would probably add more pieces to it and distribute the colors a little more evenly. It has a lot less pieces than the small scale model that I built for it. I may still do that.
Here’s a photo of it installed out on Stewart Ave. between Flushing and Johnson in Brooklyn.
