A Non-Representative Model for Incomplete Ideas (Intricate Structure #1 and #2)

Sometime last week I finished the small scale model of the Rodchenko sculpture from the A Non-Representative Model for Incomplete Ideas (Intricate Structures) series. After I finished wood filling it and sanding it twice I primed it with with some grey Testors primer and then sprayed it with flat black spray paint. I also finished the small scale model of the house that I was working on from the same series. I ended up spray painting it with gloss dark blue spray paint which I really didn’t like. I decided to paint it with Ultramarine Blue gouache which has a nice dull finish but I don’t like the dark spots that it created. I may have to spray it in the end but we’ll see. I’m not sure about the title of these pieces and I may end up including them in the A Theory of Progress series. Here is what they look like.A Theory of Progress (Rodchenko) Copy-Intricate Structure-House-Finished
